Well thank you Plumbob, what a great message to start the day and the week.
We used mainly English Setters and Pointers. There were times we would take just the dogs and let them hunt and work together. There's not many things I think is more beautiful than 2 dogs working together. One would find the birds and the other would back up the dog on point. Beautiful site I truly miss. Rutinbuck you're a true sportsman.
Obviously you time is right around the corner. The reason I asked you bird hunting is quail hunting was our favorite thing to do when it was hunting season. We always had a minimum of 2 dogs. My Dad had a knack for training bird dogs. He passed away several years ago and I only fish now. I do miss it but I mainly miss hunting with my Father. Good luck and I know you'll post a pic of that big buck when you get him.
Do you do any pheasant or quail hunting?
Beautiful! It appears you have a great place to spot deer.
It appears that you two know each other but it never ceases to amaze me the way I have seen complete strangers except for being members of The Fishing Stage give each other support. It makes me proud to be a fisherman. Saw and Elefantdude I will be praying for your wives and hope they have quick recovery.
I was fairly shore it wasn't a double barrel. Need large landing nets for those strong stripers.
That's a great work station you have. Beautiful fish. I'm probably wrong but it appears there is the barrel of a double barreled shotgun in your picture of the eagle. You have to shoot those fish? LOL. I'd love to see a golden eagle. We only have bald eagles in my area but they are awesome birds to watch.
Steve Sink, does the name Evan Arledge ring a bell? I'm married to his daughter Jan. I've heard your name but it may be another Steve Sink. The Arledges lived in Welcome.
Good Morning All. Very good advice Plum. Some mean people in this world. Not on this Forum for sure.
Good one. Thanks for starting my day off with a good laugh!
I've caught a lot of flounder and in North and South Carolina a 12" flounder doesn't have enough meat to fool with. The size limit in NC is 16" for sport fishing. They completely closed flounder fishing for a year to allow the flounder to grow and repopulate. The Wildlife folks around here are very friendly people unless they catch you with fish too small.
Beautiful photos. Thanks for sharing. I love seeing the pictures of someone's catch but these types are so enjoyable. It's part of the reason we all love the outdoors.
Keep getting strong Rob, listen to your Doctor and fish when you can. I know probably that fish their whole life and never catch a 4 LM bass. Not me mind you, but some people I know.
I'm not going to get on a bandwagon but I feel very fortunate to have found this forum. We are people from all walks of life and most don't know each other besides this Fishingstage but we have a genuine caring for each other. Can't beat fisherman.
Thanks Cowboy. I was just getting ready to look it up. Always wanted to go to Greece. Pictures from there always seem beautiful. Thanks for sharing Gordon.
