I use whats referred to as a bow and arrow cast with my fly rod.
Just make sure your home before the sreetlights come on!

Not sure what modest is anymore...I'm cheap. Grab a Ugly Stick combo and some tackle etc. and get after it.

Not sure where in WA you are. Shore fishing is tough unless you can cast into deeper/warmer water. I use cannonballs on my steelhead rod. They stocked a few lakes around my area for Black Friday.....I will be there instead of the mall. Good luck
