Nice brim, Whitereb! Tasty! Shad the main forage down there?

I would say it’s the main feeder that I am aware of but I have only been fishing here for last 5 years.

Went to south sauty area of lake Guntersville. Found me a little spot in the back of the Lilly pads lucked up on nice bluegill bed. Kept 10 of them for tonight’s dinner. one time they quit bitten then came a nice 3lber bass came swimming by fem behind the grass. Then bit on again. What a good day. Baby shad was jumping all over. Bass was back there feeding. Pic of my new truck 2021

Nice mess fish. Been busy on a new property. Just been checking in once a week. Not familiar with dead lake. Sounds like fun. If I can be any help reach out. Think I’ll try around south sauty. That’s where they released the truck tagged bass at I paid my entry.

Great picture’s Whitereb! Very nice Tub of Oysters. Sounds like you can go collect your own out there. We are Not allowed to pick our own oysters here, can only available to purchase from a few Oysters Farms from the coast, or to which ever stores they ship to. Lucky You, those look delicious, BBQ, Fried, Sauté! 😋🍺

That’s a bull red. Slow biting today. Couple blue fish also. Head back tomorrow get ready for work. Good 5 straight days of wetting a hook. My brother can get some rest. Lol. If you like a variety of fishing good place to visit. Sharks will be in soon to bred saw a couple feeding in bulls bay. Bass master will be here in Santee copper lakes in a couple weeks. Travel 50 mile range get nice lake , river , coastal or off shore. Should be on your bucket list Charleston SC

Sounds like an awesome vacation Harold. Glad you're having a good time and catching fish to boot. I agree, that's the most beautiful back yard I've ever seen as well . Thanks for sharing your trip, and good luck catching for the rest of your time there. Look up Gordon while you're down there.

I called Gordon and talked with him when I got here. This area is my hometown go stags.

Wow! That’s cool .! Dude I can’t cook redfish right . I bleed them , try different things , but can’t get rid of the strong “ fishy “ taste . Any quick tips ? …..my 2cents..

Eat tilapia. Get a new measure paper tape the state provides free that has all the limits on it. It’s nice the state provides it. I guess that’s why they charge 160 a fish for oversized or undersized. I’ve been checked a lot at the boat landing. Good luck please leave a couple for me to catch in a couple weeks
