Hey, That seal idea is super. They don't leak with the seal on so it makes sense to reuse the seal. Thanks a lot.
That is a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
Does anyone have a solution to the opened Berkley Gulp Bottles that leak after opening?
A Majority of the wicked learning curve in using Baitcaster Reels can be overcome with a couple of hours of You Tube Instruction and another couple of hours casting on dry land. I currently own Penn, Daiwa, Abu Garcia Kastmaster and Lewes. A couple of these reels have been with me since the 60's. Practice on dry land and fish on the water.
Bass are good, but without a boat there are few choices available for shore fishing. I am a catfish person and love the fight.
Can't beat a fallen tree or roots in a stream or river. As said above, cats like struture in any water. Agree with a bobber 5" to 10" with a hook 5-6' under water. Catfish will cruise the water column after dark. During the day best to stay on the on the floor.
Reminds me of my first marriage. Skating on ice and no place to go.
Throw fish into an Ice and pool salt sollution and they will pass quickly with a blade or hammer.
Wow! Star Trek must have done wonders for your happy marriage. When my daughter was young, she always wanted to go to the Star Trek gatherings they would have where everyone dressed up in ST gear and a member of the cast would make an appearance. Fond Memories for sure, gerry
Henry: You live in a wonderful place. I went to Corpus as a kid and then later as a younger adult for fishing. In fact I brought my 6 year old son (now 46) there on a party boat trip. we went out snapper fishing and caught more that we could put in the cooler. I sill remember that trip with a smile on my face. Happy you found this forum and look forward to hearing about your fishing adventures. gerry
