I have decided to take a road trip to the northwest states. I did this several years ago but wanted to do it again, probably for the final time. I have only three places that I have in mind. WW11 aircraft museum in Colorado Springs,CO, The black canyon of the Gunnison around Montrose, CO. and Glacier National park in Montana. I will be in Idaho from top to bottom then utah { where I went to college}, Then into New Mexico.
turn east to Texas and home in the eastern part of the state. I would love to get input from any of you as to any other place along that route you would would suggest. Thanking you in advance RB

Pascal’s Wager

Do you believe in God? Or do you wonder how anyone could believe in God? Well, look at Pascal’s wager, or his challenge to whether one should, or should not belief in a Creator God! The following is a way, even without physical evidence.

His Wager goes like this: No one can opt out, they must choose!

If you hold this belief and do your best to be obedient, then after death,
You will live with all the other believers in Paradise.

If in fact, there is no God:
Believers will die without either any reward or punishment.

If, in fact, there is no God:
Unbelievers will be in the same state as Believers.

If there is a God:
Unbelievers will live forever in eternal punishment in Hell!
So, it is obvious that whether there is, or is not, a living Creator, you are far better off living as a believer.

Please help me pray for our longtime friend and brother in Christ, Eldon. Unless God chooses to heal him, he is very near the end of his earthly journey, due to stage 4 pancreatic cancer which has spread throughout his body. Myrna and I have known he and his wife, Kathy, as long as we’ve known each other
(40+ years) and have shared and loved each other’s family through many years of good and bad times. He and I played together on our church’s softball team when I first moved to Lawrence, even before I met Myrna.
Eldon’s youngest daughter has moved up her wedding to 9/15, in hopes of her dad being able to at least attend, but unless God intervenes, that may not happen.
So please pray for their family during this difficult time.

Yesterday some of you may have seen a post about fishing not being called a sport. Thankfully with so many positive replies that was debunked.

Today I was reading a site that gives pros and cons on charter boat fishing. Personally I am not a fan of charter boat fishing.

To me it seems to take away the true meaning of what we have established as the sport of fishing where a fisher uses their knowledge in finding fish.

So what say you guys and gals on charter boat fishing as far as pros and cons?
