I'm pulling my Skipjack out of the slip for the season but thought I'd burn a little fuel before I start on the maintenance. It sure is more fun!

Grady White make a great boat. But with any boat that is 35 years old, be very aware of possible plywood decay in the stringers and transom. Also watch for any spongy spots in the floor. Pictures look good, its cleaned up nice. Look in all of the hatches (where people might forget to clean or not pressure wash). Dirt and scum stains in places that would never get wet may indicate shes been a submarine in a previous life!! Your best money spent would be a professional survey for an impartial opinion

I have owned 10 used boats in 30 years and think I know what to look for. I am humbled by a good surveyor. If your serious about the boat get one done. It shows to the seller your serious and can give you some bargain room. With a boat things can go wrong and a 10 on the outside can be a 0 in areas not seen

Yes!

The side with the dyke has been always good from shore. Salmon eggs usually will get your limit.

Im a salt water guy but my buddie fishes the lake often.

The rangers or staff at the store will help you out on the days current bait and technique of choice

Had mine about 5 years ago! Luckily the Dr said "I'm good for another 5 years".

I told him lets get to the bottom of this!

Still sounds like a beautiful trip. Look at it this way since you didn't get your elk, You'll have to go back just for that!. Most likely get fish then too.

Sounds like a legitimate excuse to me.
