Looks like a sexy shad sq bill 👍

Sexy Shad color but I think it is a new lure made by Rapala called an OG6. OG is Ott’s Garage and is a flat sided balsa wood crank bait with a special material for the lip, circuit board I think.

It will stay paired. Turn motor on and off but that’s all.

Went through that with the company i retired from. Started out mom and pop everyone knew there job and worked with not for each other. Then $$$$ bought the company brought in new blood, HR and headaches. Stayed at same work bench for 30+ years went through 5 buy outs and loss benefits with each turnover.

I feel your pain.

Again, and that’s why we retired.

Back at the turn of the century, my employer went from a family owned business, to part of a corporation. All the illogical jibber-jabber I learned at home, came in very handy in deciphering corporate doublespeak. For the last 4yrs we are an independent entity again, but with a new management group. Every time my logical side comes out, I have to give myself a Gibbs smack in the head. Some days I've got a migraine, by the time I go home.LOL :-)

And all of that is why you retire.

Generally rule of thumb is to use the smallest hook and line for the size of fish you are after. You should be able to find bait hooks anyplace that sells tackle. Should also look at Khale, circle and octopus hooks.

For salmon you could go Rio Vista or Sacramento. For trout and catfish, Amador, Don Pedro, New Melones, McSwain, McLure, Tulloch, and Pinecrest. There are also several other rivers to be fished.

New Hogan and San Luis Reservoir have striped bass but don’t know if they are what you are thinking about.
