Yeah I a huge Yankees fan!
Just got a Yankees Trivia/ Quiz book from my sister.
Ao far I'm batting 520.
The book is titled
The Ultimate New York Yankees Trivia Book, by
Ray Walker.
Every chapter you take a 20 question quiz, then you look up the answers to get your score. Then you read the facts. There are 18 chapters/ quizzes.
I've completed 5 of them.

When I was young I knew so much about the Yankees as most of us NYC kids did. Now, I doubt that I could pass any trivia quizzes.

I didn't know about umami so I googled the 5 basic taste sensations. It said: The sense of taste has classically been limited to the 5 basic taste qualities: sweet, salty, sour, bitter, and umami or savory. Can I get 1/2 credit for guessing savory? I still don't get what umami tastes like.

Hello stagers,
Drew is a fine young gentleman that I have had the pleasure of working security with from time to time.
Drew came up with this trivia question for the fishing stage.
What eye color, in humans, can see best in low light conditions?
Can you see your way to the correct color πŸ€”
Commander Bell out

I would say the lightest eye color such as blue or grey.

I know it sounds broad. But are there best practices or time-tested methods that every angler should know and follow? Anything you could have said to your-decades-younger-self to spare frustration or to improve productivity in catching fish?

The above answers are excellent. If I was to add anything I would say to keep a journal. What worked, what didn't.
Stream fishing: crank with or against the current; fast or slow; sunny or overcast; hot or cold weather? Build on your good days and your bad ones. Experience is a great teacher.

Hello stagers,
I myself am not much of a NFL football fan.
Baseball ⚾️ is more my thing.
I am however getting paid big bucks to work night shift security at the NFL combine in Indianapolis.
Let us all know if you have a favorite NFL team, or any other sport for that matter.

Congratulations Bcmech1,
You are absolutely correct as to what and why.
Pepsi was indeed named after Peptic Acid.
It's produced by the stomach to break down foods.
It's also one of the strongest acids known to man.
You've just earned yourself a Double Bubble Burbalishis soda.
Enjoy

I hought I knew the answer for this so I just Googled it. The direct quote is:How did Pepsi-Cola get its name?
Pepsi got its name from pepsin, the digestive enzyme. The name Pepsi was chosen because Caleb Bradham, the inventor of the famous drink, believed that his drink was a 'healthy' cola that helped with digestion. Pepsi was indeed named after pepsin, a digestive enzyme.Apr 19, 2023. Plase check your source.

Hello stagers,
Here is a trivia question that I learned many years while working in a hospital πŸ₯
What soda pop is actually named after a enzyme found in the human body?
As a bonus question where is it found and what is it's function?
Commander Bell out

I'll say Pepsi Cola. Enzyme would be pesin which aids in digestion?

I have spent most of my adult life fishing without a required fishing license. Though I have been lucky not to get caught most of the time, I have received a number of citations over the years. During a recent outing I was approached by a Fish and Game Officer who fortunately cut me a break and instead of giving me another ticket he let me go with a warning. Since I am now retired and would be fishing more often, I decided to spend the $81.00 and avoid any future citations. I went online and paid the fee and on the day my license came in the mail I received a second notice from the Department of Fish and Game informing me that my license would be suspended in 150 days for being delinquent on child support payments for my 35-year-old son. The notice said I could appeal this decision by requesting an appeal hearing with the Department of Child Support Services. Child support gains nothing by this action. They did this simply because they could. By the time I'm finished jumping through their hoops to clear this up the fishing license will be expired.

Payback's a b***h! Move to a state where you can't get a driver's license or register your car until you pay your back child support. This sounds like a s**m message to me.
