I haven’t been to the lakes but they are biting in the backwaters off the Ohio. The dogwoods are in full bloom ,so I would think about any of the lakes they should be on the banks and in the brush.
Great job catching J I troll the bandits lures some in the river the 200 size works good the river is around 15’ deep. I going to invest in a couple plainer boards.
The river dropped enough for us to get out today and we found some in the back waters. Off the Ohio River. Jig and slip bobber fishing in 4 to 6 feet of water. Color didn’t seem to matter just had to get it in front of them. They was in the brush and tree tops any kinda wood. The wind blowed some but we still had a fun day.
Now that it’s time for the hatchlings I’ve been throwing this the last couple days. But nothing has taken a whack at it. It sure looks good in the water both feet goes around like a Whopper Plopper and it’s noisy and throws water and stays on top and runs straight. I’ll give it a few more tries.
