Unless you're driving one of them buggies you're almost a hoosier. Good to hear from you Denny! How's the family?

Same here brother! The family is very well, thank you for asking.. baby is finally getting on schedule so we get small breaks during naps. Life is good! Did you get the vaccine, Spirit? I did and it made me sick for a day and sore for a week.. second shot was the same thing, just a little more sick. Hows everything on your end?

Hey Denny, I see you have a routine date night on Friday's at Lucky's, please remember to ask your wife if she would be interested in going somewhere different once in a while. She may say no, but it will show you want to please her and that you are aware of her, not just dragging her out to dinner and bowling again. Hope you two are over the moon happy and sailing into a beautiful future. I know she must be very proud of you, keep it up.

Yes indeed.. she is very set on luckys and bowling as a tradition, when she finds something she likes, she sticks with it without tiring lol!

"Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from inside the fish.”
—Jonah 2:1

After the crew tossed Jonah overboard in the middle of a storm, God sent a custom-designed watercraft Jonah’s way. In other words, He brought in a very large fish to swallow the prodigal prophet.

Now, did God do this because He hated Jonah? No. Was He angry at Jonah? Again, no. God did this because He loved Jonah and wanted to get his attention. He wanted to bring him back to Himself.

Jonah knew what was right, but he was running from it. But while he was inside of this fish, he called out to the Lord. Remarkably, this happened after he was there for three days and three nights.

I can just imagine him sitting there wrapped in seaweed, fish slapping him in the face, smelling who knows what with the fish’s gastric juices bubbling away.

Then he finally came to his senses and called out to the Lord. This reminds us that we can pray anywhere and anytime. We can pray while we’re kneeling. We can pray while we’re standing or sitting. And we can pray with our eyes open or closed.

God will hear your prayer in the ocean, and He will hear your prayer when you’re pacing around, stuck at home. God will hear your prayer wherever it is.

Ephesians 6:18 tells us, “Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion”. Even when things are bad, God is still good. So we can give praises to Him because of that. That is what Jonah did. And by the way, I think it was here that he experienced personal revival.

Maybe you feel like you’re wrapped up with problems right now. You can’t see any way out of your particular circumstances. Know this: Your situation isn’t hopeless. God can come into your life and change your entire story. I am proof of this.

God bless you and keep you today and every day. Go in love and peace.

Denny and Fam.

Sold the NC place and now Marylanders. Got the happy wife thing going on, me i feel a little couped up here in a town house. Adapting slowly.

I feel you on the couped up thing.. wifey won't let me go out because she has a fear of covid and our babies. I have a bit of cabin fever and can't WAIT to go fishing, the walleye are in the river and I'm itching to get there and fill my freezer up. I bought a brand new chest freezer for meat packs... I'd love to put some fish in there lol.

Before all time; prior to all worlds; when there was nothing "outside of" God Himself; when the Father, Son, and Spirit found eternal, absolute, and unimaginable blessing, pleasure, and joy in Their Holy truinity- it was Their agreed purpose to create a new world. That world would fall. But in unison- and at infinitely great cost- this glorious triune God planned to bring you (if you are a believer) grace and salvation.

This is deeper grace from before the dawn if time. It was pictured in the rituals, the leaders, and the experiences of the old Testament saints, all of whom longed to see what we see. All of this is now ours. Our salvation depends on God's covenant, rooted in eternity, foreshadowed in the Mosaic liturgy, fulfilled in Christ, enduring forever. No wonder Hebrews calls it "so great a slavation" (Hebrews. 2:3).

From In Christ Alone. I really liked this passage. God bless you guys.
