Try powder milk I use it first clear ice, works pretty good and doesn't really doesn't hurt anything.

I made it to the last spot shown on the video again tonight and scored these 3 slabs plus one under sized walleye and a few small gills. One Crappie was caught on a fathead minnow and the rest of the fish mentioned were caught on a tungsten ice jig with a pink plastic tail.
