Would you believe set it in place with super glue, let it set up. Then apply hot melt glue evenly across it. Worked fine for me.

I will likely be moving soon, and am looking for the best way to transport my fishing rods. I have roughly 30, many are St. Croix, couple GLoomis, the rest are cheap beater rods.

I don’t want them being compromised, tips snapped off, guides busted out, etc. Already took the reels off and packed them away nicely so that isn’t a concern. How can I safely transport my fishing rods?

buy some rod socks, less than $5.00 each at wal-mart

my #1 go to top water lure is the rapala original floating 5 1/4" silver r13-S, it is not cheap, but here in the south (ga.) i think it is well worth the price. i always keep 4-6 in my tackle box. good fishin' to all.

Hi, Montana ! Welcome to the forum ! Not here to 'tour guide, but were you considering Arizona by any chance ? This state has basically two zones - hot or cold ! The northern part (above the Mogollon Rim/6,000 ft. plus) is cold and snowy in winter, but considerably cooler in summer than the southern half (1,200/ 1,500ft.) ! Conversely, it's much milder and warmer in winter below the 'Rim', but can be brutally hot in the summer (110° average, with 115° plus possible mid-summer) ! Some areas in between such as Payson or Prescott (5,000/5,400 ft. respectively) can pass for mid-range zones for both seasons ! We do have walleyes, and the best lakes are above the 'Rim', such as Fool's Hollow, Show Low and Upper Lake Mary ! Some lakes in the southern section (Roosevelt,
Apache, Canyon and Saguaro) also contain walleye, but less so in size and quantity ! We also have BIG bass, stripers, and catfish (flatheads and channels), pike, and some really decent trout ! If you're looking for a warmer climate with good fishing, you could do worse !
