I just signed up. I am looking to go ice fishing at Lake Nockamixon, Pa, in a week or so. It is about an hour away and I am looking to see if the Ice is thick enough, most likely in the coves. Any suggestions to find out ice thickness.

You can’t catch fish if the rods aren’t in the water just saying and any day on the water is better than not. Most important is just have fun

I haven’t any luck with lures musky fishing so I am thinking I will try live bait on a slip bobber rig I have access to trout, shiners, and eel. Is there a better rig to run ? And what bait do you suggest out of the three?
