Btw I mean fish full moon anytime in California from about 9 pm till 4 am and catch enough in most lakes out there to make fingers sore. Cooler water
I caught a 11,12 and an 18 pounder years ago with drop shot during full moon in November at lake success in Porterville California while I was visiting doing cattle work and I live in Texas and the lake record is over 22 pounds and the lake dries up in the fall and winter because used for irrigation usually has about 20 acres left and fish bite like you would not believe. And anyone around that area will back me without pictures. Sad day

It has a lot to do with cover. Get a custom made one for your boat will cost more but will pertect and last longer then a inexpensive one. Have had mine on my ranger custom made for 15 years and most of its life been outside in weather I have used different things to keep cover from wearing out. Fades a little but still works good. And if your just staying close to home take off and leave at home
