I just learned a fluero knot that says it’s 95% efficient. It’s called the “double Shinzo”. It has some of the characteristics of the Paloma, Uni and improved Clinch knot altogether, but is really easy to learn and tie under bad conditions. It is used by Gerald Seindle and Edwin Evers and I’ve been using it for the last month. It really is tremendous. I try using the Alberto for line to line connection but cannot get the hang of it. I’m a clutz so not really hard to believe. I keep using the Uni to Uni just for ease.
