End of year. I Enjoy this web site. I am like the rest of you guys and gals and enjoy fishing. I don't always come home with fish, but each time out I learn something. It may be something about the lake, or the boat, or my tackle, or myself. When I get home and put my toys away I already have a plan for next time. For those of you who answer our questions, provide advice, and make us smile, thanks and see you next year.

It may have to be registered in your state. If so do not buy without title. Almost impossible to get one without tremendous hassle. I tried in Texas
Then impossible to sell for what it’s worth.

That’s fishing news!!!!
Hello from Cajun living in Texas.
When I was a kid in south Louisiana we would pick them catabla worms and sell them for a nickle each, which was a lot of money then. Excellent bait. We had homemade cricket boxes, stuff the catabla leaves in them and Add the catapilars in. Stayed alive for days. We also put some in mason jars one half full of corn meal and about 20 catipilars in , screw on the lid and put them in the refrigerator. Mom was ok with that.
Again excellent bait. We fished everywhere, bayous, swamps, rivers, and Toledo bend. Man to do that again. Hey you guys, take a kid fishing! From stilltrying

Dip net. Pa.and Md. Have size limits. Can bait them with just about anything. I use one for minnows. Years ago on Potomac river guys had big one for dipping spring sucker run. Pretty much illegal now.
From Louisiana and use this to catch crawfish in shallow water, flooded fields, ditches etc. tie chicken parts, fish parts, any meat really to center of net and place in water and wait a few minutes. Lift net with long stout pole and net collapses on itself trapping crawfish. Easy to buy in south Louisiana. Usually set out several dozen in flooded places and catch more than enough to have a big party
