What are your pet peeves?

* Going through the fast food drive through, they take your order and hand it out the window, you say, "Thank You", they say, "No Problem!".
You drive away starting to dig in the bag and they got the order wrong or is missing half the meal.
I went through the the chicken and biscuit order and asked for an extra hash brown. I asked if the girl if she would please check to see if there were all of the products in the order. She took the bag, set it on the counter and gave me four mini cups of Polynesian sauce, gave me the bag, whipped around and walked away.
" No Problem my #ss!

Yes it a good policy to check. This is not rocket science to fill an order, and with 30 cars in line, they try to push you through. I am checking from now on.
The part that gets me, they can't say,
* Your Welcome.

They say,
* No problem!

When it turns out there is.

Respect. That’s what my dad called it You used it or you got a back hand. I know. Today you get in trouble for that. I don’t think there is enough of that today. Didn’t hurt me when I was growing up

Pet Peeve # 1, someone parked in a handicap space with no tag or sticker.

Then there is that guy who just wants to RUN into the doc's office to drop something off and guess where he parks.

Finally the guy sitting and waiting for his spouse parked in the one and only handicap space.

When someone says "No problem" to you, what he really means is "Not my problem!"

Those are all good. Mine top one is S O B's. Covers Elected Officials, Used Car Salespersons, and those that just want something for nothing from you. Good people worth talking to and spending time with, the S O B's not worth saying Goodbye to. IMO anyway.

Another of those would be some who pushes entitlement, when they had no personal involvement.

Or you can not be their friend unless they can take advantage of you.

I have two related to driving -

the first is people who can't wait
another five seconds to let you
get by, but jump out of a side
street or parking lot just in front
of you and then putt-putt ahead
at 30 mph when you were doing
45 mph !

The second is a two-part highway peeve - people who run parallel to another at the same speed on a
two-lane highway and won't let you pass, then there're the a**-draggers who putt-putt along in the express lane at 60 mph, holding back a
dozen or more cars who were formerly traveling at 75 mph; they should stay in the first two (a**-dragging) lanes ! If they 're going
to travel in the express lanes, then they should 'EXPRESS' themselves
or stay in the first two lanes rather than inconvenience everyone else
and cause a potential 'accident' situation !

in any language there is a connotative meaning to a word or phrase which is based on the emotions associated with a word, and a denotative meaning which is the specific dictionary meaning, or the implied meaning and the actual meaning. When someone is saying "no problem" they are not saying "not my problem" or "there is not problem with it" the connotative or implied meaning as used in the context it is being said is more along the lines of "that's ok it was not a problem at all" or "Glad to have helped you" and is not disrespectful in the slightest in fact just the opposite.
