Thinking about Jim's Smokin QUE SOUTH of town? Unless you know of a better place in town area.....i am unfamiliar with that area....PLUS....any other fisherpeople in area on this forum should be welcome to share the sport and the info......anyone else out there in area?

Conowingo dam Maryland pics

I lived in Elkton for 25 years...nice catfish in tailwaters....great shad fishing in spring....and some nice bass out on the flats towards Turkey Point........when water temps got up near 60 degrees there used to be some strikers around Turkey Point on the canal side......

Only fished the Toccoa on a drift boat once.....now as a part time resident I mean to get serious.....will be driving up 15th April.....maybe we can get together at a place close to all? I am 6 miles N of Blue Ridge off of Rt 5 near Epworth.....about 28 miles to Blair's Ville....

Gater and Viking.....just bought a cabin in Blue Ridge.....will be up there a week or so mid April looking for some trout.....then all summer and fishing for whatever I can get.......no boat so gotta do some looking around......hope to see you guys around and exchange some info.....

Hi Mum and ProMo1..... I just bought a cabin in. N. Blue Ridge near Epworth.....hope to get to know a few fishermen soon as we expect to be spending a lot of time in area....love to fish for bass and learning some fly fishing for trout.

Now we have a place in the mountains of Fannin County with opportunity to do some serious fishing. If there are a few others in the Blue Ridge area I would like to hear from you....will be back up there in March and hope to do a little fly fishing for trout.....wife happy with catching a few catfish...her favorite. Pictures when we are successful....

Fightingtown Creek. Blueridge Ga

If you fish the Toccoa....check for when the dam is opened first and your proximity to it.....water rises 2 to 3 feet quickly with a very fast current.....but plenty of trout there. Good Luck
