Good morning. I hope everyone had a blessed day. Next week heading to Bay City Mi. To see family and take the boat. Never been up there before looking for some advice on how to fish for walleye or anything I can catch. I have fished lake Erie and it looks like it is like Erie shallow. Been retired 4 years I got out about twice a week. Lets say 30 to 40 times in a year. This year it may change wife retired this month. Been out twice so for if this weather would streighten out. Lake temps been in the 40s

Maumee Tackle shop 419 893 3474 they have a web site that will let you know when the run is. there are several you tube videos on how to fish the river. I went up there last year had a good time. just a warning there are a lot of fishermen out there. i say go during the week.

I think someone owns someone a trip to the warm beach for dragging her out in 20 degree weather that is the way my wife would think.
I have a 17' Crestliner CX with 50hp merc easy to get in and out of the water. Had a problem with it last couple of years would not idle. Come into the dock about 25 yards away it would stall out every time. Broke down took it to the mechanic after doing a couple things and nothing worked. he said take it out on the lake and run it hard. By fall it running like a champ. I guess poken around the lake is not good for it. I forgot $400 later
Not enough I am a warm weather fisherman so see where I live about 60 to 80 times a year. Love to go to different lakes and ponds. Thanks for asking
