Why is it the one that got away always makes the best story ?
Whats wrong with using the jack unless you don’t have it?

Fishermen never remember the fish they lose. Actually they seem to remember them more than the ones they catch. I am speaking strictly from second hand information as I have never lost a fish.

I was fishing in nantucket we brought the bosses teenage son with us , his first time salt water fishing, got him all set up and told him to watch for the pole to bend after a while the pole bent in half and started ripping drag it never stopped till he got spooled. Had to have ben a bonita , yellow fin or blue fin , never know what ever it was it was big. We told him don’t get used to that cause it’ll never happen again

You can give a monkey a camera , that doesn’t make him a photographer. It takes a fisherman to catch fish. All technology aside you still have to be a fisherman to catch fish
Talking to the boat is ok I do it with my dirt bike if the boat talks back then there’s a problem
Another thing , and this might sound dumb think like a fish were would you be in respects day lite tides and cover
Try fishing at nite , a lot of fish move around more
If you gut them quick then keep them cold no problem
If you know you’re right stand and fight, only guilty people run
You’re amongst friends welcome aboard
