My father had a cancer operation, recovered and cured his 2 year old skunk.
He fished 4 to 5 days a week with no luck before the operation.
Coincidence???

Here is mine:
1954- Miniature Cannon, my deja-vu experience
I was about 9 or 10 when we went to visit a family friend in Pennsylvania. We were ushered into the living room where I had an eerie feeling that I had been in that living room before. I went directly over to look at a 12-inch long miniature cannon on a side table, the friend said that it was a working cannon that he had shot many times. I said that I remember him telling me that the last time we were there.
We had never visited their house before and I had never met him but I remembered his cannon very well including the scratches and nicks on the barrel!

Pulling a boner:

To make a foolish, silly error or blunder; to do something stupid. This phrase, originally derived from "bonehead," has become much less common in recent years due to the slang term "boner," meaning an erect penis.

Enjoyed your story telling RJ, quite a different read from the traditional.
But then there is someone that has to delineate your storytelling from fact with a dissertation about biology.
This was a bit different from your usual but I still enjoyed the story.

[quote=Graywulff]I always take it with a sip of liquid "sunshine"...

Is that liquid “sunshine” code words for Exlax or Geritol?

I enjoyed every phase of my varied career:
During college I did performance testing on torpedo electronics.
Moved on to supervising reconditioning of business computer systems.
Designed cryptographic retrofit of a radar system for the US Navy.
Retired as a biomedical tech and teacher at a cancer hospital for 30 years.
I never had a job that I didn’t like and all were rewarding.
Moved to Texas in 2019 just a few doors from my son’s family and grandsons.
I plan to teach my grandsons to fish next summer if my knees hold out.

Suzanne and I went out for 2 hours this morning had a decent mess of crappie, she caught all the big ones and was tickled to death. My shoulder held out very good till I tossed a dead minnow out with that arm and it was time to go home. All in all had a good time.

Good outing for you and congratulations to Suzanne for the big ones! I’m glad that you can fish together.
Learn from your MISTEAKs 🤪, no more dead minnows OK.

Thank you all for your responses. It was nice to get to know a little about the people behind the name. Ed

Welcome to the stage.
If someone doesn’t have a good answer, the will make something up.

If you get targeted in a BadBobby quip you will know that you have arrived, he includes everyone.

I'm sorry, I thought that anyone who bass fished would know where Lake Guntersville was. It's in Alabama. It always ranked in the top of the top 100 lakes in the country. Last year they held the Bassmaster Classic.

Tmack, bass fishing is not for everyone and we are spread out across the world not just USA.
It would have helped all if you had put a space and “AL” in your profile location.

Good luck in your tournament.
