Well spawn is over in Kansas as Oz said due to the water temps so our prime season has passed. Research spawn and current water temps in your area. I always like mornings. Live minnow might be your best bet and maybe pick up a catfish or bass. I also like a pumpkinseed grub. Good luck, if you catch, share pics.

If they sell bait, google doesn't know it yet. I spent a few hours out there last weekend caught 1 crappie on a pumpkinseed grub. i will try again and definitely check out the marina. I'm toying with the idea of trying Kayak fishing, Olathe Lake would be a good place for that. Thanks for the article. Are you fishing today?
