Thanks guys for the input, I want to go out to places like the delta or clear lake, even lake mead, but with this COVID thing it does not allow me to take my wife of 40 years along with me due to her underlying health issues. I tend to stay with the fresh water as bass fishing has been a great part of my life. I use to love the tournament circuit, red man, flw and even have have several entries in the U.S. Open on the pro side. Still have my Ranger Z and have been able to get out some and catch some nice fish, just saying it’s not the same when you cannot just go for a week or so with out some fear of this thing out there for her sake.

My fondest memory of my grandfather was him taking me fishing which I have enjoyed the rest of my life one thing I have noticed was my father did not like fishing so my grandfather was the one that put the fishing bug in me. Funny thing I’ve noticed is that my two boys would go fishing with me but never got the bug now that they’re grown men and have children of their own the grand children absolutely love to go fishing and every time I see them they want to know when they can go again has this happened to anyone else to wear it seems the fishing bug skips a generation to generation just wondering

In bass fishing we often have to fizz our fish as they come up from deeper depths to fast and their swim bladders do not have the time to naturally de-compress. You will see this as you put them in the live well and they will turn belly up. Upon fizzing or needle them, they swim normal and this allows for more live releases.

Do you know what sucks I retired in March of this year and live in California just about this time everything locked down so no fishing no traveling no fun I still do not know what retirement feels like or at least what I thought it would feel like maybe if I lived in a different state it would fell a lot better. Stuck in purgatory

I have live scope along with the hummingbird 360. Worked in combination this setup is outstanding. To be able to see the high value targets on the360 then to see fish movement on these same targets with the live scope increases your odds to fish productively and not dead water. Does not guarantee you will catch them, but does increase your chance. It is a large hit to the wallet.

San Vicente is still pretty clear but tough right now. You can catch the bass but have to work for them

Never seen a kid in front of a judge that had a fishing license in his pocket, just saying it’s good for them

1. The foot pedal will take some getting used to, hard for precise movements
2. I use a separate sensor for my side and down scan so no help here.
3. Neck control is excellent, very precise
4. Holding power under anchor is ok depending on terrain, if your fishing around high hills it will drop the satellite signal from time to time
Hope this helps
