Yesterday I was skunked again. In the last month I have gone most days without a nibble and the biggest fish (spotted bass) I have caught in a while might have been the smallest bass I have ever seen.
Over my impressive run I have tried: Ned rig, Texas Rig, Drop shot, crank, jigs, spoons, wacky rig worms, fake crawdads, shaky head, and a few other techniques/lures. I have tried various line types, colors, sizes.
The only thing that hasn't changed is the fisherman, and I starting to think that is where the problem is!! : )
I am still having fun, but I'm not gonna lie.. it would be more fun if I was having some success!

A lot of Stripers (and strippers for that matter) down here. For best success people use live bait (Blueback Herring) but for lures we catch them frequently on similar reaction bite lures that you would catch Spots or Largemouth.
A friend bought me a Livingston crank bait. About the 3rd cast a fish grabbed it and broke my line. Not sure if it was the sound or a coincidence, but I plan on trying another one.
