wasnt there some disease found on horned animals which include deer that distorts the growth of their horns to the point of making them unfit to harvest...from what i remembered in the show.

i wouldnt just leave it there unprepared...i mean, if one of your buddies got hurt in the woods, would you expect anyone to just leave him there if it were fatal? Taske the hook out after you put the fish down...then either bir=ds or animals will get a meal without any harm coming to them.

yep...i lost mine when the skiff i used that day on the lake was swamped by some kids driving their daddy's boat at full speed and werent paying attention to the size of the wake they were leaving behind. Luckily i was saved by another fisherman as he came around the corner and saw me dog paddling 20 yards from shore...no other boat in sight!
