I got a Lowrance 3-D for Christmas. I did a lot of research before it was purchased and I came to this conclusion. About 80% of the reviews are positive. Of the 20% that are negative they all seem to be either user error or it’s just plain broken when it comes out of the box. They are cheap mass produced Chinese electronics. I will be testing mine out soon because I finally have soft water around here again!! I will post a review after I do. Should be by Sunday at the latest. More interested in mapping the bottom structure then actually locating fish but we will see what it can do. Claims to do it all.

Do the math. 33,000 members how many contribute regularly? The stalkers are the majority. 😂😂😂

As an admitted “stalker” I’ve done the math to make myself fell better. Lol

I was lucky first time I got my kids out it was at a stocked pond at our hunting cabin. They caught and have been hooked ever since. Still loose interest really easy, they are still kids only 9 and 8. They where 5 and 4 in the pictures. Both of there first fish!

When I was a young man we used to do a lot of sneak shooting on Lake Erie. Sure have to put out a lot of decoys to do sneak shooting. Had a nice sneak boat at the time and we got lots of ducks.

I would assume sneak shooting and layout shooting are the same thing. No better way to dunk hunt in my opinion. It’s a ton of work but it’s such a rush to sit up to shoot while 10 ducks are coming in for a landing right in front of you. You can see the ow #%^* look in there eyes!

What happened with the name change

Could be stealthy J and not sound so creepy

Upon further review some of my most respected old school stage regulars where put off by “stalker”. I figured I’d just go back to J. Plus I won’t have to explain to my own daughter why I go as a stalker online. lol 😂😂🎣

Welcome aboard J. I do the same thing in the morning. Great reading & People !

Thanks for the welcome. I’m sure there are plenty more like us. If there are 33,000 members I bet at the most 200 contribute regularly. Most us just read learn and enjoy.

It's hard to narrow it down to 5 bands. As far as #1, on any given day, depending on my mood, could be any one of them, or others.
So many great regional bands also, Boston, B.O.C., J. Geils, South Side Johnny, Aerosmith, The Boss....

Still got me and I’m 20 years younger than a lot of you. Must be an old soul because I know and like the newer stuff but I love the older stuff!!!

Last summer, while fishing on Truman Lake in Missouri we witnessed most of this "personal disaster" of an older gentleman. It was sad to see a perfectly good truck in the water like this. It was interesting to see the boat kept the back of the truck from sinking under. I think maybe he backed too far causing the rear wheels to be lifted from the ramp but am not sure of that. We never learned for sure what happened to cause it but did see by his actions that he was older and seemed Iquite confused, having trouble following instructions of those who were rescuing his truck and boat for him. Note that a couple of good guys, one in the water were attaching a line to the truck so it could be brought back to the ramp. I think the poor guy was still in the truck in the pictures and if the truck had actually sunk completely it could have been much worse that it turned out!

I used to do a lot of duck hunting out of the Rocky River. (Cleveland, Ohio) Duck season in Cleveland it gets real cold. We would always have a second truck up on the flat part before the ramp. With its winch ready! Ramp would be a sheet of ice!! Saved us more than once. This was before kids. Don’t think I have what it takes to lay out shoot the big water anymore!

In no particular order or genre : Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, ZZ-Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd,Black Sabbath.
In all cases, the older stuff is the best, '70-'90 or so.

I 100% agree with Fred. You’ve got my taste in music. Only difference is I’d put Skynard #1 without question.

Thanks for the welcome and warning. I’ve been reading religiously for 9 months. I know not to get on the wrong side of Spirit. And I don’t think I will. His wrath is to be avoided.😂😂😂😂😂
