I use what they call a bottom Walker for my bait holder. It's a great rig. Then I use worms to catch some small Brim or bluegill cut into small pieces or large and use this bait works great

Going back today. My wife is jealous and she wants me to put her on fish. I released all the fish I caught. Maybe she'll catch them today.

Today I fish in Herman Little Pond in Spring Texas right north of Houston. I fish for catfish using a rig called and bottom Walker it suspends bait about 6 inches off the bottom. It works great! Caught 15 stocked catfish in about 3 hours.

No pressure on the bay. With fishing. Lots and lots of trout that are quarter inch shy. And small red fish. Makes for a good day fishing though.

There was a fishing tournament in Galveston Bay today October 5th 2019. The heaviest Stringer of 5 fish three trout and to redfish was 25 lb. Not bad. The water had a lot of fresh water in it from Storm Imelda. We couldn't even keep our shrimp alive because the water was so fresh. Lots of small fish were caught. I think there's too much pressure
