Great pics Saw, sounds like you had a lot of fun out there. Judging by your clothes, looks like it might have been a little chilly! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Fred, on my list to try.
Be fun though! One of my favorite things about fishing, is going to new lakes.
Will give it a thought, thanks
My brother-in-law fishes there all the time. He usually outfishes all his buddies who guide up there. Fishes off a float tube about 90% of the time. The guides don't like to fish near him when they have clients. Been closed during this whole pandemic thing.
Thanks for the info Saw. Ever fish Pyramid in Nevada?
Pretty much the same as your lake. 25-35 ft. How was water clarity at your lake? And water temp?
Sounds familiar Saw. One school was off of rocky dam. Other two were off of rocky shoreline. Tried about 5 different things with no luck. Going to try a crank bait next time if other stuff doesn't work. If nothing else, might tick the fish off, which they will deserve it!!
Was doing mainly drop shot, wacky rigged with 5" Thin green/pumpkin. Will try smaller worms next time.
Was out yesterday, caught 8 LMB, with largest a whopping..............9"
Metered 3 large schools in the 20-40 foot range with some big fished mixed in. Could not get them to take anything. Water temp is 78 degrees, with clear water. Any ideas from you folks?
Thanks

Looking for any reports from recent trips to San Vincente, taking my granddaughter there Friday. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys/
I have a 16'8" Tracker with a 40hp. It is all I need w/ 2 or 3 people in the boat. I can usually go all over a lot of different lakes and use maybe 2 gallons of gas.
Yep, no planes for me either. Do think you would enjoy our state and lakes. If you ever do make it, we will have to hook up, it more ways than one.
Was in your part of the country about 5 years ago, and it was beautiful.
Thanks Spirit, keep them lines tight!
