Karen Fish Ladue quite often. Used to boat fish but have a hard time getting in and out nowadays .Shore fishing is limited Bridges ,At the park ,Limited places to park. Causeway good for walleye early mornings at night right now . rattle traps ect. Fish are looking for sand to lay eggs. But limited parking or long walk. Lots of small drink crops near bridges. If boat fishing have a plan as it's big. Hope that helps Tight lines!!

Last time I was by there it was a stream, not a proud lake , they send all the water down to Ladue.or Rockwell. That's been a couple of years though. Looked sad. Tight lines

Hey stagers This is why I asked about the collapsible minnow trap.I don't have much room I'm wondering if anyone is using the collapsible to see if it's worth the money to buy. II know how to use the Silver kind. Bar talk is the only the silver works as I know they do. Dog food ,flour, shrimp ect. I think its location location location. Just looking for other opinions.
Thanks and tight lines

I'm right handed Use a left handed bait caster. Find it easier for flipping and pitching The thumb on the reel. Then a quick hand To the crank for getting in that bite on the drop. Without having to switch hands. But that's me You do you get tight lines

Been a meatcutter for 50 years. I have a 10 " Forchner that I've had 40 some years that's only been on a stone twice. I only use a diamond steel then a ceramic steel. And it's razor sharp to this day it's stiff and wide for going through bones like an electric .then use a flexible to take out rib bones. The moral of this story is store your knife in leather or wood never in a drawer or tray keep the factory edge don't mess it up on stones or grinders unless you can keep perfect angle on BOTH sides. I use my knives often pizza to beef and can bring the edge back every time with a ceramic or diamond then ceramic steel.
