Anyone have any luck at these two parks outside Meridian, MS. I live in Alabama but have property near there and was just curious as I never hear any reports from there. Thanks
Not familiar with LAKE. Is Wind Creek area good for bass?
We were at Wind Creek, mid July but didn't take the boat. We caught 1.5-3lb bass from their fishing pier in the late afternoon/early evening, from the marina docks and around some shallows within the campground. I talked to a tournament angler and in talking he said we did good as big ones except strippers are tough especially that time of year. We are planning going back again soon, now that it has cooled off. Might rent one of their cabins.

I am from central Alabama and have just got back in to fishing after living and fishing in Texas for years. What fishing recently I have done on Lay, have had a little luck on green pumpkin worms for bass. Bite is tough right now as the fish are quite spread out. If not getting a bite switch up colors. I use a wacky rig and Texas rig. Don't let one idiot discourage you. Roll Tide!
