Warning there must have been 40-50 boats crowded around fishing for Halibut in the latest “hot spot” on the weekend. If possible weekdays are best!
I read that there were halibut being caught by the bird cage/oyster point in SFBay. I never heard of the bird cage anyone help here as to where it is?
Aslso, where do i get the ocean forecast to see the weather out there?
Naive question? I'm going out for the very first time ti try crabbing. I'm going out the gate then I'm kinda lost as to go north/south etc? Druxbury/stinson/bolinas any help is appreciated w/o giving away any of your "secret" spots would greatly be appreciated! Would like to come home with at least a couple of crab. Thanks for all the replies! My boat is a 19' Seaswirl probably get a slip in either Richmond or Berkeley or Emeryville, still shopping around. Just started looking at life jackets and first aid stuff. Haven't gotten to rods/reels etc. (Yet) Trying to now deal with the DMV
