Although this is for Admin., I chose
to post it as an open letter rather
than a PM !

Query - how much longer will I be banned from posting on sites other than the Attic or on PMs ? Been in
this 'limbo' for over two months
(approaching three), so how long
is 'long enough' for having been banned ? Pretty sure I have more friends on here than enemies, so I think that (some) other folk might want to see me back, as well ?
How much longer ?

I’m not upset at all Big A. You take things I say too seriously. I’m a serious jokester. I just don’t give a 💩 about the wasp thing anymore. Nothing against you at all Ok?🕺🏻

A- Okay that you are just joking !
Didn't think you were mad with me,
but was concerned that you may
have taken something as criticism !
B- Sometimes I do take things too seriously, but as I've said before - sometimes what you print isn't
always taken as intended !
C- MY problem, here ! Going
through a rough patch and my sense of humor has been flushed down the crapper, lately !

You're A-OKAY in my book, no matter what anyone may say about you !

Man, don't get upset ! It was just
a friendly comment and never intended as criticism ! I H**E misunderstandings like this,
especially with people I like
and respect ! Please ! Ease up !

What amazes me Big A is this post had a very interesting topic that gave us something to consider and Gordon made the statement that he didn’t intend to stir up a hornets nest. Then I put Bzzzzzzzz🦟🦟🦟🦟, with a few of those wasps, then you assimilate them with mosquitos, and then we end it discussing wasps, which started this in the first place.🤤🤔

What goes around, comes around ?
My eyesight is fine, but you may
want to take another, closer look at those 'insects' you posted - that profile looks a lot more like 'skeeters to me than wasps or hornets !

(Lord knows I've swatted more than my share of the blood-sucking little buggers !)

Yep ! That wasp I pictured grows to about 2 inches (just slightly smaller than my pinky finger) - it hunts and feeds exclusively on tarantulas ! Haven't seen one yet, but still
wouldn't want that experience !

Do you need stronger lenses again?🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟
Increase your page size and maybe you’ll see better.

Sorry, Hack ! I 'zoomed' the phone
in to the max, but those still look
more like 'skeeter profiles than
any hornets I've seen ! As for
lenses, the results of my last
eye test were 20/30 for both
eyes - I only wear over-the-
counter 'readers', and then
only 'as needed' !

If those are Texas hornets,
shouldn't they be about the size
of sparrows, at least, and 'skeeters
the size of normal hornets ?

Arizona 'skeeters ? Been here just
over 19 years (total) - don't think I've seen THREE in all that time out here !
Back home was another story -
some days it was hard to get any fishing done for the 'skeeters,
gnats and/or midges constantly swarming in your face !

Now, here's one critter you should hope to never run into (and YES !
this wasp is way bigger than your average Texas hornet) ! This is a Tarantula Hawk Wasp, and its' sting
can fell a horse - the sting, though
not lethal (unless you're allergic),
is as bad as the sting of the
'bullet ant' of South America ! If
stung, all you will be able to do
is lie on the ground screaming in agony for 5 to 10 minutes until the pain finally subsides ! It may not be lethal, but it is excruciating !

I'm sorry ! Those are hornets ?
Looks like a swarm of 'skeeters
to me ! 😳

Big A...This morning, I posted a thread just for you. It is titled 'An apt description'. It is as follows...

...On his way into the supermarket, Big A walked by a cashier, who noticed that his fly was undone. Looking at him, she said, "Your barracks door is open."

Because this is not a phrase men normally use, he carried on walking into the store, feeling a little pu9zzled. Later, while shopping, a man came up and told him, "Your fly is open."

Big A zipped up and finished his shopping. Then, remembering what the cashier had told him, he finally understood. So he intentionally got into the line of the same cashier's checkout, the lady who told him about his "barracks door."

He was planning to have a little fun with her. So, when BigA reached her counter he said, "When you saw my barracks door open, did you see a soldier standing there at attention?"

The lady thought for a moment and said, "No. No I didn't. All I saw was a disabled veteran sitting on two duffel bags."

Have a great day, big buddy.
Big A...This morning, I posted a thread just for y... (show quote)

Oh, good ! I can respond !
I can read all the sites - it's just
my responses that are restricted !
You're a funny man BF, as is PB
who posted a funny response !

FYI - 'Junior' does not suffer
from 'ED', but he does get a little 'sleepy' and may need 'reviving'
on occasion ! 'He' may not have
been awake (up ?)when this was posted, but he can be 'up and
alert' in no time, especially if
there is a 'sweet young thing'
nearby who needs 'attention' !
(I have to defend his honor as
he can't defend himself !)

Worse comes to worst, there's
always the old 'hammer and spray starch' solution, usually reserved for extreme emergency situations !

Fortunately, there is now a 'little
blue pill' that can help 'him' keep
his head up - a lot less painful than
the above-mentioned method and much more efficient !

So ! How are you two gents (good buddies ?) keeping YOUR 'heads'
up, hmmm ? 😂

Was at Silver Creek for three days
last October - caught one about
14", another about 18"/near 3 lbs.,
and lost one about the size of this
one in the photo because I didn't
have my net with me ! Was only
using 4-lb.-test line, so when
I tried to haul him ashore, the line snapped - he fell at my feet, but
I couldn't get to him quickly
enough and he flopped back
into the creek !

(Man ! Talk about heartbreaking !)
