A frind years ago would tow his boat with his motor home and launch also. Never saw him do it, just heard him talk about it. Also the marinas around here all had a tractor with a hitch on the front bumper, seamed easy watching it. Try putting a removable hitch on front and find out if it will work for you before lnstalling a permanent one. Keep fishing. DEEJAY.

There is also a program called "PROJECT HEALING WATERS". They take disabled and restricted mobility Veterans and active duty military personnel fishing to learn how to fly fish. All equipment is provided, and most times is given to the Veteran. This program is free, no expense to the Veteran. For more information Google, " PROJECT HEALING WATERS". Keep fishing

You can observe, but if you assist in any way you must have a license. Picking up a rod, handing him a fresh bait, driving the boat, carrying tackle, anything that you assist the person fishing, you are required to have a license. It would be simpler to buy your license. Some wardens can be very picky and write a ticket for a nothing infraction. Enjoy your trip, keep fishing. DEEJAY

Not looking for a patent, or particularly to sell them, other than a few here and there. I don't like having to make stuff, it takes all the fun out of it.

I agree, when it becomes a job, it's not fun anymore.

Looks great, and no where near a beatle spin. It has no safety pin bend and a the floating hook that makes it different, for a patent all you need is a difference in design. But it also looks a lot like a conventional spinnerbait, before selling check it out first. Keep fishing. DEEJAY

To trap and feed minnows we used a can of dog food,(any brand) cut both ends out and place entire can inside the trap or minnow box. If you use one of the small cans of food push a stick through on one side to keep it from turning over. Don't use the type that has chunks of meat, minnows don't have teeth. No mess and the minnows love it. Keep fishing. DEEJAY

During a rain storm fishing is usually great. A thunderstorm with lightning, not at all. A light drizzle all day can be your best day fishing EVER. I would like to have those days again, but my body says OH NO YOU CAN'T. Keep fishing

Put the spool in hot water for about an hour, that will take out line memory, and the stiffness, it's like conditioning your line. Also when spooling your reel hold tension on the line with your thumb and forefinger. Keep fishing. DEEJAY

I have monofilament that 2 brothers and myself in the late 80's. Its been kept in a closet and sealed in a plastic container, and it's still in new condition. My brothers have passed now, not as much used as before. I use it for refills and leaders for braid mostly now. Keep it in a cool place and in the dark and it could last a lifetime. Keep fishing.

Looks similar to a Lee Sisson bait. Havent seen any in years. May not be a Sisson bait though, someone will know. Met him 10 years ago in Florida fishing an elite tournament. Keep fishing

I use minnow type baits, rapala, rogues, meggabass, any brand works, you must experiment with colors to find what works best in your area. Get into the backwater of the rivers where here is a lot of current. Cast out quatering downriver and let the current wash the bait around toward the bank. As the bait is moving down stream wind the reel slowly then slow down some more. As the bait swings around you should feel the current pulling, dont try to put any action to the bait, the current will do it for you. Different length baits work at different times, rapalas 9-13, other baits 85-110, around 5 inches long. I try to be fishing about 2 hours before dark, and usually leave 11:00 - 12:00 . If im getting a lot of bites I'll stay longer. In the past I wore waders and walked the bank, I'm not capable of doing that now. So now I take the boat and anchor as close to the bank as possible, 3-4 ft of water. Most of the fish I catch are close to the bank after dark. If you get hung on the bottom, let out about 10-15 ft of line and let the current pull it downriver. With the line then tight point your rod tip toward your bait and give a hard overhead jerk. That will cause your line to pull the bait downriver pulling it loose from the bottom. Most hangups will come loose using this trick, but not likely from brush. Hope this helps you, keep fishing.

I have with small baits, finesse worms up to 6 inch worms and lizards. The same way I learned to fish for trout a lot of years ago. I never use over 10# line, the heavier jigs and line just doesn't work as well on spinning reels. I hold the line in my reeling hand, if the reel handle is in the wrong position the line loops over it and creates a mess if you don't notice. After I make my cast, I watch my line and the tip of my rod, using my hands for feel on the line and reel handle. With a spinning I need to look to see what is happening, not so with a baitcaster. I only use spinning when using light lures. Works for me. Keep fishing. DEEJAY

Most bites in bass fishing are very subtle. A ligjt tap indicates a bite, the next tap is when it spiys the bait out. Sometimes yuo won't feel anything, watch your line ,especially where it goes into the water. Any movement, the line may jump, ease off to the side, anything that you did not cause, JERK. A lot of bites that you think are bluegill or pan fish are bass bites. ANYTHING THAT YOU DIDN'T CAUSE, JERK. As was stated above it don't cost any thing to set the hook. Most bass bates requires you to jerk hard, so dont be shy about putting some leverage into it. Keep fishing. DEEJAY
