Hey Foltz, I personally have had real good luck with plastic lizards. Green pumpkin with chartreuse color on the tail. Even 10 in plastic worms, black, or green pumpkin with red flake. Good luck.

HEY J, good looking eyes. Was interested in the bass report. Sounds like there starting to move. I have a couple trips planned with a buddy one to presque Isle, and a couple to the harbor's East & west in June. Thanks for posting & the pictures

I made a life changing move to fishing from a boat. I have never fished any way other than from the bank. I will have to learn etiquette that comes with responsible boating. Any and all advice will be willingly accepted.

Welcome truthseeker1. I'm sure you will find a lot of good info here.
The one thing that I see that happens at some of the lakes that I visit is people don't use the rigging areas to get there boats ready for launch. They will pull down and spend 15-20 min on the launch ramp getting things ready. Get things ready ready in the parking lot, a designated rigging area then pull to the ramp. If you have never backed a boat down a launch ramp practice makes perfect.
