Yes we have l even caught a jig in my lower region when weight fell off seat. Just a flesh wound but it woke me up . Lol

I take the treble hooks off and use a single circle hook. Has saved alot of injuries .

You actually have to find an old Big Bamboo record. Take that paper out that they gave you with it. Dry your fish properly put them through a grinder then roll them up. You might need a torch to get it lit though. LOL

Sounds like alot of fun floating is a great way to enjoy the wonderful world we live in. Tuna fishing on the banks is more like work. Kayak fishing schoolies is the new float tube.

Thank you for the nice catch also. Yeah you have those epic days once in awhile. Last week I caught for Blue Fish over 16 pounds my biggest one was 17.8 lbs . I'm trying to get my 6-pack license so I can do Charters and I've been really working on all aspects of my game. I've been fishing since I can remember my mom and dad own a hunting fishing tackle shop for 18 years of my life. I was fortunate enough to go out west and do some elk hunting as a guide I've also guided salmon in Upstate New York. But as we get older we slow down and fishing from a boat is not a bad thing. I like to teach people and help them. It looks like your regular post it here so I feel the same for you. One day I'll get up there in post. But life is very busy. Come join us next summer for some good fluke fishing.
