I bet we all know someone in each category. Care to share a story or two?

I know a few that fit each category. I always strive to fit the first.

Thanks scud.
Scud? Wasn’t that a missile?

It was, however my handle stands for scud runner. Scud clouds are low hanging clouds. I was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and we were known to fly in some questionable conditions to get the job done.

Tempting is it not when we throw our hands in the air thinking that it is good enough.

Let Patience prevail and do it right!

This reminds me of my answer when management wanted to stick with the tried and true "old" method. My answer was "when we stop getting better, we stop being good."

I found this quote today and it gave me a kick in the butt.

“The proper function of a man is to live,
not to exist.
I shall not waste my days in trying to prolong them,
I shall use my time. “
Jack London

Excellent advice.

That's always been how I've looked at things.
I always try to start my day with my daily devotional from "Our Daily Bread."
I like to have my Bible time in the morning before I do anything else.
I just feel better when I start my day off readin bout and talkin to the Lord.😊🙏

I read the Upper Room and the suggested Bible verse with breakfast every morning. It just seems to set the tone for the day.

Are you buying that bigger boat because your neighbor has one, or that new rod and reel just to keep up with the latest and greatest?

How about that $ 50 lure guaranteed to catch fish like your buddy has or that new fish finder with more features than you will ever use?

Just be yourself, there is no one better.

I think I have been a nonconformest most of my life.
