If only our eyes saw souls instead of bodies, how very different our perceptions may be.

Your words are more meaningful than the insert picture Plumbob. Years ago I started trying to look past the outward appearance of a person, rich or poor. And it's so much easier to do when we are at the lake. Fishermen seem to understand that we're all have equal chances of a good catch no matter how much our "toys" cost.

Thank You Joel for your sentiment of what I added on to the caption. When I pick out captions sometimes a thought pops right up and sometimes a deep thought is required. This one was a pop up.

Many years ago I got to know the owner of the company I worked for very well. Upon his rounds walking among the workers I would watch him communicate with the Engineers, the Techs, and the Custodians that kept the place clean as though they were family.

That was impressive where one takes the time to listen, as well as communicate with another on their level.

If we treat people like we would like to be treated then I think we would be a bit nicer to people 😂 I have worked with very little problems, never ask anyone to do anything that I wouldn't do myself, one time I had to hook up a pump which was 175' from the electrical panel so I asked my helper to start digging from the pump to the panel, when I got the cover off the panel hooked up the wire to the breaker and then I got a shovel and started digging from my end, he asked what I was doing because no one ever helped him before 🥴 I told him that's the way I worked 😂
Hope everyone has a great day and remember to make someone smile today 🙏🙏 it's not hard to do 😂

Your statement is like a training session in learning not to judge. Your meme is a lesson in letting go of our need to control. Put the two together and you have an excellent prescription for inner peace and outer calm. Thanks Plum.

Chuck, you and I would have made a good team working together. Your work ethics are the same as mine.

You are welcome Wulffy and Thank You for your kind words too. That inner peace takes a little work sometimes and especially when lying down for the night trying to obtain that silencing of the mind to get to sleep.

However as you say calmness prevails and a new day is in the making while we make the best of it.

It would be nice if we could pause the mind at times.

We do tend to judge by appearances
I try to wait till I hear what comes outta their mouth

I don't believe it's clothes that makes the man 👍

I used to rely on the hand shake Butch. That came back to bite me a time or two and now days just like you say: wait to see what comes out if their mouths.
