I went to the Doctors office for my yearly physical
but I had left my hearing aid at home
Anyhow the Dr said I was doin ok for my age and some more gobble de gook,and I went home
A week later the Doctor sees me walking down the street,laughing and smiling.With a beautiful young woman on my arm.The Doctor said to me"bb,you really are feeling good,arent you?"
I replied"Just doin what you told me Doc.Get a hot mama and be cheerful"
The Doctor said
Bb,I told you that you had a heart murmur,be careful!!"

Well, many years ago in Raleigh, N.C. on Falls Lake, fishing for bass with a buddy and we were both worm fishing and all of a sudden, bass were busting the surface near by due to a school of shad.

We were trying to angle the boat to get better positioned to cast into the whole frenzy and about that time, the boat swung around Just as my buddy reared back to make a long cast. I yelled as I felt his line and rig start up my back..........Too late, He embedded a 4/0 Gamakotsy worm hook right into the curled upper edge of my ear.

Point was buried inside the skin. He was sorry but wanted to keep on fishing and started to re-rig. I said...we are going back to shore and I'm gonna see about getting this hook removed.

Went to Docs office with the hook still in ear and about 3 feet of mono hanging down my shirt still attached to the hook. It seems Drs do not have wire cutters on hand like most of us do. His heavy duty scissors or what ever he was using would just snap closed sideways without doing any damage to the hook. Finally, after calling in his associate doctors there so they could all enjoy the show.........somehow they got it out.

Was not fun.
