When I was young you didn't have an option. My Zebco 202 came with right hand retrieve. Since then every reel that I can switch is left hand retrieve. Just feels more natural, didn't have to retrain myself, it's just the way it works for me.
Always mount my fish on the table. Pictures are good and cost less.
Never had a inflatable, allways figured I'd pop it. I'm a little rough on stuff, so I have to make sure it's built sturdy.
I was also thinking, if you like cats, catch you a bream. Stick a 3/0 circle hook in his back on a 12 inch leader with about 3oz.slip weight and sling him out there. Keep your line tight and patience is a virtue.
Yes, some people are quite trashy. That will get you and everyone else run off from some really nice places. Like others have said, I carry plastic shopping bags & pick up trash where ever I go.
Doesn't matter what your rod"s made of. People that get hit by lightning the most are golfers and fishermen. Don't fish, or play golf when it's lightnin out there.
I'm guessing, you're Fish'n for bass. And don't know what your usual set up is. Rubber worms work for bass most anytime and are usually fairly weedless. I prefer Carolina rig with a worm that floats. If your hook weights down the worm, pump some air into him by mouth with an air needle. Just a little bit of air makes alot of difference;
I've had about 5 different ugly sticks in 6to61/2length and med. med. lt. action. I seem to break the tips on these rods more than my others. Maybe it's just by chance. I really do like the rod, especially for the price.
I fish under bridges. Off the bank and out of boats. Have allways considered them good places to go.
Maybe you were being watched, I don't know. Maybe you were tripping, I don't know. Just guessing, you're trippin!!
Did you have luck when using worms? Stick with what works. I'm not saying to never try anything else, try them all. But stick to what works.
I believe that is used for bass. I've used rattle traps that looks real similar.
I keep it simple and use mono, & have pretty good luck most of the time.
