Broken rod, you've been extremely helpful! I appreciate it 🙏🏽, and you're right. I called earlier and I could tell he was a bit younger and knew a little something but not much lol
Awesome tip, I will definitely give Ben's bait shop a call as it has been difficult trying to find fishing reports for those lakes. We are actually going to be staying at the Battle Lake Inn on West Battle lake and I plan on fishing that one of the days we are there given it is supposed to be a trophy musky and good walleye lake. Being from California originally, my brother has never seen a lot of the species we have up close so it would be great to get him hooked into something like that for sure :-).
I will thanks for the tip on Molly Stark lake. That is really close to battle lake where we are staying so I may have to pop in. Hopefully the ramp is deep enough to get my boat in. I have an almost 19 foot deep V skeeter solera fish and ski.
Cool, thanks for sharing information Brokenrod, that's not too far from battle lake where we are staying. A lot of options for sure. Really appreciate it!
For sure! Thanks Fred fish. My brother is flying in from SoCal and one way or another we are going to catch some species of fish he has never seen before. Prime time Spring fishing so hopefully it's a good one 😉
I primarily bass fish but hoping to also catch some Walleye (for eats), nice crappies (for eats), and a bonus would be a trophy 🏆 muskie. 🙂. Welcome any insights into what the fish are doing up North.
Good day for some bass fishing 🎣 if you could weather it 🥶 🧊 ☃️ . 😆
Hey everyone, I put this little bit together for an event I'm hosting. Let me know what ya think. Enjoy! 😉
1. You blame your friends for making you go out for a full day fishing excursion on the lake.
2. You go to the store for groceries and return home with fishing tackle.
3. You start planning your next fishing trip during work hours.
4. You prioritizing spending countless hours browsing fishing boats and tackle online over household errands.
5. Everytime you see water you consider grabbing your fishing pole.
6. You said one more cast, 15 cast ago.
7. The same fish you caught gets bigger everytime you tell someone the story.
8. You plan family events, doctor visits, and work trips around your fishing schedule.
9. You forget your drivers license but make sure a fishing rod stays in the car.
10. Your unsettled if the first fish caught isn't by you.
11. You need some alone time after not catching a single fish while spending all day on the lake.
12. You try hard to convince others that a severe weather advisory will be ideal for going fishing.
13. You need therapy when your fishing plans get cancelled.
Let us know which one's your favorite.
My personal favorite is the Will Farrell gif. 😂
Thanks Jarhead, and yes - I baby it every second I can. Hoping to get a lot of years out of her :-)
It was time to put her away for the next 4 months! 😥
Caught a nice 5lb 3 Oz. This weekend. What a fight it was landing this big girl.
Good day for spinnerbaits
Had a nice time with some fellow bass anglers this weekend. Fishing in the land of 10,000 lakes.
