I love corn meal pancakes, right on. Not to get off topic, but they are good with butter and a little bit of backstrap molasses.

Hell, I don't consider bluefish a trash fish by any means. It's relative. If you are raised on prime rib when ever you want it, you'll complain about sirloin, as my dad used to say. He began me on bluefish after getting them on party boats back in the 60's off Jersey shore, and my mom would take even big blues, and bake them like a pot roast, with sweet onions, garlic, parsley, stewed tomatoes, small new taters, and didn't taste like a trashy fish to me. I recall camping about fifteen years ago and catching some decent size snappers and just grilling them and eating with diced canned jalapeños and salt. What are we, fisherman or bourgeois brats ? ! I ate drum in Kansas once, and kept it on ice before cleaning and eating which helped. It was alright, nothing special.

Never caught a minnow, but I'm sure it's possible.

Yes, Sir, bobber22, nothing to laugh at about the fight of good size bluegill, and get them tweezers out to catch some minnows with a #who knows size hook. Magnifying glass not included. Fillet O'Fung

Use em for bait. You need a really small tweezers and can't fish for really big fish, and need a small hook. Just cluster them together.
