No but their is a very easy way to clean a trout .Start at the butt cut shallow up the belly to just before the bottom of the gills stop there.You will notice two looks like slits just above where you stopped ,stick your knife thru one and out the other and cut toward the nose end of the fish,now stick your thumb in that and pull down and all the guts will come right out all is left then is run your thumb up the back bone to remove the blood that gathers along the back,rinse and you are done .Its by far the quickest way to clean a trout.

I put my boat in at Sallisaw Oklahoma Kerr lake and it is the Arkansas River. I took the boat 330 miles down the Arkansas to the Mississippi River.Then headed south on the Mississippi river for 600 miles to New Orleans.From there we worked our way out into the gulf and ended up at Dog River marina in Mobile Alabama. All along the way when we found an anchorage for the night we would put our poles out and at some point during the night the catfish come calling.30s,40s and a54 lb catfish.What a great trip that was and so much fun.
Try night fishing ,you can catch some large catfish at night.Use shrimp put it on a circle hook,don't tight line it keep slack in your line.When the catfish picks the bait up he can run with it without feeling the tug on the line.When he takes all the slack start reeling ,you don't have to set the hook with circle hooks.Catfish will work their way around the lake near the shore.If you can put out as many poles as it is legal .Put one way out,another half way out anther close in.I have rod holders with alarms on them and a red light,when I get a bit I can hear the alarm from my can,I run down to where the poles are and look for the one with the red light on.So much fun.

I don't know what you are fishing for but for trout using a meps number 2 I tie direct to my line,makes a big difference as to fish caught.You will need to stop fishing and let your line untwist every one in a while,also cut the red off the shank of the hook.
First off the catfish are going to be in the slack water next to the current.Use a sliding weight sit up.Use a weight that you can drift from current to slack water.Don't let it sit to long do the drift over and over until the current take the bait to the fish.
