Kinda sweet. Court is still open not as good as the original. And hard to find in my area

I’ve never Seen That one Mike! But if it’s kinda sweet I would not like it very much. I like the Ones with Flavor, but Not Sweet.

Started out musky fishing and caught a smallmouth on my musky plug. I told my buddy that I have stuff in the truck to catch a few more and we did. I had my jigging rods in the truck and some 3” pumpkin seeds grubs a 1/4 oz heads. We caught a few no big ones but fun to catch. No musky

Nice catching Mike, you 2 did well!

Hello fellow fishers,

I would appreciate any insight about fishing/crabbing the Coos Bay Charleston waters. Interested in steelhead, salmon primarily but happy to try other fish.

Also any guide recommendations would be great as I may not have the boat along this trip.

Will be in the area week of 3/19 -3/22

Thanks in advance

Good luck Joe, I believe a chinook season will just get started up on the ocean before you get there. You could call Betty Kay Charters and ask some questions, as they should know. You can always crab off the Docks just to the inland side of the Boat ramps, always works for me if we don’t have a boat. Again, good luck and have some fun !

Son Gregg and I headed out to the local waters today, thought it would be on fire but not to be. Gregg caught 5 bass and a snot rocket to my 1 rocket and small bass. Still quite a nice day to be out and about.

Still looks like a nice Day, and the Sun was out and you both caught some. Sounds like a good day to me bk, I’ve been out shoveling Snow last 2 days, still too cold around here to even think about wetting a line. Glad you had some fun with your son

I've got a Cabelas about 26 miles northeast of me, and a BPS 28 miles southwest of me.
I'm wrecked.

No problem for me to decide where to go to! Closest Bass Pro Shop-327 miles
Closest Cabelas-185 miles. Closest Sportsman’s Warehouse-1.3 miles! And I have a Bi-mart about 1.6 miles. Most of the things I need I can get at Sportsmans, and I can order and have delivered to the store for Free. The others don’t get much of my business unless I’m passing through. Just not the Population where I live for those companies to build new stores.

Decided to try out my new rod in the mud hole in my RV Park. Used 6'6" medium OT(Ozark Trail) rod w/OT 3000 spinning reel spooled w/12lb Big Game line. Used #4 treble w/Magic Bait "King Kat" chicken blood fished weightless 18" under a bobber. Only my 2nd cast.

Impressive performance for a $30 combo rig, especially the drag. Very smooth and steady. Really good rig for the $.

Dry nice Kitty C-Luck! Congratulations on both catches it’s seems.

Well, woke up to bout a foot of fresh snow. That's what was predicted. It's still snowin so it's a little over a foot now.
I need to get out there and get goin but I'm hopin it will stop for a while in a bit. Not suppose to though.
My heart's just not in it right now. I really hate shovelin snow WHILE it's snowin.
I'll try to give it another hour but then I've gotta get out there, like it or not.

There are those among us who believe that prayer is hooey and a waste of time. Not so myself. Ezra is out of surgery. The operation went perfectly according to the surgeon. The donor valve is a little larger than Ezra’s heart so he will be able to grow into it and if he does need further work it will be in maybe 20 to 30 years. Everything is functioning normally and as soon as the anesthetic wears off mom will be allowed to see him and pictures will follow. Our gratitude goes beyond expression. Thank you Stage family. Once again my life is blessed by being part of this.

I just spoke to Jean and she is in rehab. Should be home soon. Just Sayin...RJS Time Out
I haven’t posted anything for a couple of days due to my wife, Jean falling on Thursday and badly injured her left knee. She was finally taken to the hospital on Sunday and is there now. The doctors have decided that surgery is not required. I do not know when she will be allowed to return home, but it should be soon, in the next few days.
While I am alone, I have not yet written any new stories. I will take a time out until things get back to normal. Just Sayin…RJS

Sorry to hear about that RJS. Will pray Jean heals quickly and gets back home. Glad to hear surgery was not needed. 🙏🏻

Had a good afternoon with some good size trout. Caught a couple browns and some rainbows. I was using a black puddle jumper on a 1/64 oz jig tipped with a mealworm under a bobber. I lost a couple that I would have caught if I would have used the dip net lol.

Very Nice Mike, great Fat looking Trout. Must have been Eating good before you took them home for dinner!😁
