Thought about that and it's a great idea. I just don't have 2 reels the same size.
You are correct on the issue about nothing magic on using exactly 150 yards of braid. It's just that I have done this before and always end up with so many partial spools of line and I can't bring myself to just throwing it away.
Now that's funny. I am just waiting for the person that asks what about the 3rd person.
I have both of those numbers. But how do i know when I have spooled the right amount of mono from the bulk spool.
Thanks for trying anyway.
I want to put braid on my spinning reel. I have 150 yards of 20# power pro. How do I calculate how much 20# mono I use for backing. I want to make sure I use all 150 yards of braid and that I fill my spool properly. Thanks for all that honest answers that don't make fun of my poor math skills.
I have used them for other purchases and the wait time was far to long. Prices were ok but not worth the long wait in my opinion
I will do so. Thanks for the info.
Ok, I agree. But then we can't use Shimano reels which are my favorite. They are made in Japan.
Yep. The bad part about it is that everything was to be Christmas presents. The reason I ordered the braid was because I couldn't find the different colors of braid that I needed in the proper strength and enough length at any local tackle stores. Lesson learned!!!
Not to be racist at this time with the virus, but I ordered braid line and 3 reels from a Chinese vender and the results were horrible. The line took 3 months to get and it was pretty much junk. The reels were impossible to track and took 2 months longer than promised. And these were not the same venders. The reels were supposed to be Daiwa BG and 3 different sizes. They were a brand I could not even Google and the only size difference was the spool itself. Just be cautious if ordering from over seas. Returns are all but useless. From now on I just visit my local tackle store and pay a little more. Shout out to Copes Tackle and Rod. Bakersfield CA

I am stuck at Success Lake due to truck issues. It opened up 2 days ago to boat and shore fishing only. No camping. A few bass and good catches of crappy. According to the fishermen. And we know that never lie.
Thanks for the additional information.
