That's good if you're using whale hooks like this guy but using smaller hooks and thinner line on a boat in the wind it ain't as easy....
ok, so maybe a nipple or two also! Just sayin...RAQ. ; )
I planned to do mostly lakes but I know that area and might give it a try one day.
a flashlight and a stroll around the house brought many nightcrawlers to the surface for an easy grab. I never did find the ones that caught fish though!

Major, I just saw your profile saying you're from Sea Bright, NJ. I grew up in Long Branch and now live in Manchester by the Lakehurst Naval Air Station. Small world.
I feel the same way! I look forward to my daily Fishing Stage email! Getting to know some of the regulars thriugh their posts and fine gentlemen all!
A guy in a similar situation was having dinner with his girlfriends family. Try as he might, the action of his digestive system overcame his ability to hold it in and out came a SBD (silent but deadly). The father crinkled up his nose and told the dog, "Spot, get out of there"! A few minutes later the boyfriend again had no control and released yet another SBD. The father again admonished the dog to get out of there. Feeling a sense of relief the father thought it was the dog, he took the liberty of releasing yet another, deadly noxious SBD at which point the father says, "Spot, get out of there before this guy craps on you"!!!

I haven't been down there since 2006. Went to PI with a group of Jersey Marines for a week. Slept in the barracks, had a DI with us, ate in the chow hall with the recruits (it was better when I was there in '67, now it's a catering service) and saw the graduation ceremony. Great trip!
I got down to NC but not to the dam, rained almost every day and wasn't going to waste money on a non-resident license and not use it much. Next trip.
