Here we are on a site that threads have hundreds to thousands of views on a daily basis and when you think about it who really reads this stuff?

So a simple thought comes to mind, please be yourself we never know who we are inspiring.

Sounds like a great time. Memories that will always bring a smile when you think back on this occasion

Good thing we went last Friday, won't be able to go for awhile now. 12 inches of rain in Polk County is causing flooding down the Trinity river

I know I am Very wasp aware, used to carry an epi pen, they keep expiring which can be a good thing, it means I'm not getting stung

Thanks for the pic Gordon, it reminds me of our road trip up the Maine coast, lots of lighthouses. My wife love to see each one

I found out that they can fly faster than my tractor can move!

They were faster than I could run, and I ran fast cause I'm allergic to wasp stings. Had a hornet hit me on the side of the hand once, swelled me so bad nobody recognized me

Fishing reports

Welcome to the stage Dustin, I haven't fished CB this spring so I'm no help. We like to catch the Reds in the surf in the fall though.
Hope you get some positive response as there are a lot of people on here from the Galveston, Baytown, Seabrook and Houston area

I finally got some lines wet up here in the Eastern Sierras for the Trout Opener. We (my BFF Christy, Carlos and Gen) decided to hit Gull Lake in the June Lake Loop of lakes. My friends from Idaho (Carlos and Gen) who owns and runs Character Lures (trout, salmon and kokanee gear for the GNW) got us a pontoon boat to fish from. It started out cold (high 20s) but warmed up as the sun came over the peaks. It is so beautiful up there! The bite started out HOT as we were getting double and triple hook-ups! It seemed the hot color for the day was orange, so we were using Character Lure Spoons and lures with any orange in it. We must have caught and released over 60 trout (rainbow) for the day and kept 6 trout that were over 2lbs.
I finally got some lines wet up here in the Easter... (show quote)

Wow that's a great opener, thanks for sharing this with us
