I'd put in the petaluma at the basin by the freeway, troll south to the 37 bridge. Not sure yet I can get someone to go with me, wife won't let me go by myself.... LOL.

Not sure yet, think I am going surf fishing first, Writes Beach or a little north of there. I have caught some nice stripers in the lower river, about a 1/2 mile or so above the 37 bridge, live bull heads. Never caught any further up the river, never fished up river much. Nice fish you been catching, so doin something right!

Will get back to fishing in Jan, just waiting to get 2020 behind me, make the best of what you got, never know when it'l go south on ya. Speaking from experience here. Rest easy, it will get better.

New from Petaluma, CA. Been a bad year for me for fishing, was in ICU for 5 days, found I had stage 4 small cell non smokers lung cancer. Been doing chemo for 9 months and doing really well, will be back fishing come Jan. Used to fish the Petaluma and Napa rivers as well as SF Bay, tomales bay and Bodega Bay, have a new 18ft Klamath wife bought me when I retired last year, only been out 2-3 times when I got sick. Will be back at it soon. Tom.
