Yes,I stopped at the bridge on my way home from Mcswain and fished on the far side. They probably planted this area heavily since the whole area was almost dry for most of the past winter. This time of year you need to start at O dark thirty and get off the water or bank by 10:00 am or you"'ll get pan fried! By the way there is no fee to fish this area until you go through the gate at Mcswain/Mclure. Then it's 7bucks for vets and seniors. Good Luck!

I was bank fishing. I have fished this area for 50 yrs. You have to be careful because the Regs have changed as you get further downstream. These are plants but they will fight like hell! Was a beautiful day, minimal wind, but was time to go home by 10.00 as the Valley heat has begun!

Caught these 3 rainbows today (6/9/22) All were caught on rainbow colored PB. That is the only color they would take. Tried many! Location was below the Mcswain dam in the river.

I remember going to green lake as a child with my dad. I also remember that most of the lake is surrounded by private cottages so access may be very limited unless you know someone with a cottage on that lake. Best of luck there!

Been there a few times. Never caught much though! Just too many boats and people to fish in peace! I was told it was a good stripper lake, never saw any when I was there.

I was a sentry dog handler during my time in the USAF. 1968-1972 I had 3 working dogs during that time. A dogs senses are extremely acute! They saved my ass a few times only to be left behind when we pulled out of Vietnam! They were my hero's of that time! I think we will meet up again when I pass through those pearly gates.

Some day I will find all of the things I put away (so I could find them when I needed them) Is this a symptom?

Has anyone ever used or caught fish on one of these new animated lures that are now on the market? They are rechargeable lures made like a shad or some other species. I gave my son a couple for Christmas last year but no reports yet.
