Lol We were actually boarded by SC DNR, so it was good that we followed the law. We only had a 22" flounder in the well at that time. No sense breaking the rules.

Yep, we were bottom fishing for sheepshead, but the ones we caught were under limit. We wound up catching red snappers and flounder. My bud caught a really nice grouper, but it was a day before the season opened for them.

Forgot to post some pics of flounder we caught 50 feet down, 10 miles off of Fripp Island.

Beautiful catch. We caught 4, not quite as big, off of Fripp Island (Beaufort) using manhaden.

Nice catch Gordon. We went out for sheepshead yesterday, off of Fripp Island, but they migrated already. So, we switched gears and caught 4 really nice flounder, a bunch of red snappers (released) and my fishing buddy caught a great grouper (released - they come in season tomorrow). You had a great day with the cats!
