Have always been a believer in swivels when trolling, better action from the lure and eliminates line twists

I use swivels frequently. Not always. Fish don't seem to care either way...

Been using swivels for the past 20 years or so,and never had a problem. I fish mostly for reds, specks, and flounders, but have hooked up with 40+ drums, and sharks. In fact my 11.6 pound large mouth bass was caught with a swivel on the worm.

Since I was a kid, I wondered if they noticed that extra hardware.
I like hearing that they don't care 😊

They come w/o swivels πŸ‘

Have seen speed clips for a lot of applications, but never on a swivel. Will have to check this out.

Mike I figured since most snaps have swivels I'd try it on a speed clip since they hold well n are easier to open than some snaps.

As posted earlier, snapswivels are made for lures that spin, and will twist your line.
Snaps and quick connectors are made to allow rapid lure changes. I see no problem using either, in their proper places.
I'm a fan of Duo Lock snaps and use them 99% of the time..
No one here is in the position to judge another's preference. Use whatever you like, and enjoy yourself. πŸ‘πŸ»

I agree with you Fred, to each their own!!

I use them on spinners like a Mepps but not on other lures. I do use a snap on almost all plugs and crank baits.

I use snap swivels most of the time. Until I know exactly what works best, and that may take a while. I’m sure it has some negative effect on presentation but I’m sure that having my bait in the water longer because I don’t have to keep re-tying proves out more productive. I’m not hesitant to change when I see or feel some reason to change. My fingers sometimes turn into thumbs anymore so this helps.
